Weddings
Megan and Ryan’s fall wedding at Maison Albion in Albion, NY was full of boho florals, vintage charm, and heartfelt moments. From the groom’s emotional first look to the bride’s stunning lace gown and elegant reception details, every moment captured the magic of their special day.
Dexter and Rhiannon’s Crispin Hill wedding was a dreamy fall celebration filled with sunshine, boho florals, and elegant details. From their emotional first look to the bride’s radiant Hollywood-glam look and the bridesmaids’ stunning dark green dresses, every moment was full of joy and magic.
I had the most incredible time photographing a beautiful lakeside wedding at the Lake house in Canandaigua. The setting was just breathtaking, with the sparkling lake as the backdrop for the reception.
I just had to tell you about this gorgeous wedding I photographed at Pomona at Blue Barn in Hilton, NY. Let me just say, the venue was like a dream come true for a photographer like me who loves light and airy spaces. The natural lighting was absolutely stunning and served as the perfect backdrop for Julia and Billy's big day.
I had the most amazing time photographing a gorgeous wedding at Lincoln Hill Farms in Canandaigua. The setting was just dreamy with open fields and beautiful gardens, making the perfect backdrop for such a special day.
I'm finally catching up on wedding blogs and I just had to start with this amazing 2022 wedding day. I had the pleasure of capturing such a vibrant and fun day at The Jackrabbit Club in downtown Rochester, NY. The atmosphere was lively and full of excitement as my couple celebrated their special day with family and friends.
We are back at it again with one of my favorite venues in the Finger Lakes area- Crispin Hill. Listen, I photographed 6 weddings there in 2022 so you're going to be seeing this gorgeous space A LOT as I catch up on the blog. It's okay though because I really can't get enough of this space. Chelsea and Heather (the fabulous owners) really thought of every detail when it comes to this venue, there really isn't a bad angle. Plus it's on top of a giant hill with Keuka Lake in the background.
I am sooo excited to be sharing blogs again! 2022 was difficult to juggle with being pregnant for my entire wedding season so this is officially the first 2022 wedding being shared! I have so many amazing weddings to catch you all up on but let's start with the amazing wedding day Matt and Annie had at the Highline Rochester. The Highline is a newer venue in the Rochester area and it's absolutely perfect. If you're looking for a venue that barely needs any decor, or a venue that has a blank canvas to do ALL the decorating - then you've found your spot. I love this space because of it's beautiful clean slate, bright and big floor plan, and wonderful owners (women owned, heck yeah!).
WOO! We are finally back on our blog posting schedule. We took a mini break last year due to the pandemic and the uncertainty of weddings moving forward but now that 2021 has officially kicked me in the butt and weddings in Rochester, NY are full blown again... I am so excited to start sharing images again!
Jenna and Austin had a beautiful, intimate summer 2020 wedding at the Rochester Cobblestone Wedding Barn. Something that the year 2020 has brought me is the ability to see my clients more than normal and I actually selfishly love that so much.
I am so excited to be sharing Stephanie and Anthony’s one year wedding anniversary photos. That’s right! They jumped back into their wedding attire, ran to their original venue and we took some amazing portraits. I wasn’t their original wedding photographer but Stephanie reached out to me with this amazing idea and I’m so happy she did.
My oh my. I’ve been dying to share this amazing Crispin Hill wedding. This venue is absolutely STUNNING and this couple made it even better. Lauren and Tayler (like all of my couples this year) was thrown a huge curveball when it came to planning. After lots pivoting they decided to move forward with their wedding and go with the flow of crazy 2020. I’m so happy they were able to safely hold their wedding!
Back at it for wedding blogs and I’m so excited to share this one! I loved working with Katy and Nick so much and I’m so thankful Kim (her bridesmaid, and another bride of mine this year!) referred her. Photographing friends makes me so happy! Like most couples Katy and Nick had to pivot their plans this year and decided ultimately they still wanted to get married. I’m so happy they did.
Woooo, another wedding blog post! I wasn’t exactly sure how many of these I was going to be able to share due to this 2020 madness but now I feel so lucky whenever I’m able too!
It feels SO good to be back photographing weddings. I started off my season with Kim and Mark’s Buffalo, NY elopement and it was a blast! Due to the craziness in the world their original wedding plans went out the window and they decided to still embrace the day and make the most out of their wedding.
Kelly is a Halloween queen so this wedding did NOT disappoint. The colors, the fall day, the VENUE(!!!), the little intimate details on their wedding invitations…ALL of it was thought through and I was constantly smiling because of it.
My wedding season is coming to an end (only one more left!), and I’m super sad about it. BUT It’s ending on such a high note. Priscilla and Moise were married this past Saturday at the Genesee Country Village and Museum and they had a KILLER vendor team. I’ve been patiently waiting for this wedding all season and it did not disappoint at all! The fall colors are insane right now at the museum and they had the most beautiful day and weather.
Saturday’s wedding was so fun! I grew up in Honeoye Falls so coming back to the familiar stomping grounds was great. The morning started off a little gloomy but I knew it was going to clear up just in time for portraits. We even had a few minutes of sun for some of their portraits! It was the definition of a perfect fall day.
What a fun day filled with so much laughter and color! Chelsie and Nick booked me TWO years ago and so it feels so un-real that I’m finally blogging their wedding day. Photography was so important to them, and I could tell that! They loved hearing suggestions, invited me to their meetings, etc.
Talk about the most picturesque day! We started off the morning at the School 31 Lofts in Rochester. This was an old school that was turned into studios and airbnbs. They come chalkboards and all, it’s absolutely perfect! The afternoon was relaxed as they hung out with their siblings and closest friends. Natalie’s sister, Hannah helped her into her dress and then we were off to the do first look in the courtyard of the school.
Ahhhh blog post number two of the week. I’ve been glued to my computer since Friday night but you know that? That’s okay because these weddings are amazing and two weddings I’ve been waiting for all season!
The first weekend of September was BUSY. I started it off with this amazing Belhurst Castle Wedding. A wedding I’ve been anxiously waiting for the moment I booked it. Why? Because Colleen and Chris are THE BEST.
I’m so excited to share this blog post! Liz and I met through Instagram, as she’s a local photographer herself! She photographs the pups at Verona Street Animal Shelter to help them get adopted. We clicked IMMEDIATELY. I love Verona Street so much as I have two rescue pups myself.
I can’t even believe I am writing my own wedding day blog post? I don’t even know where to begin. I remember this time last year I was trying on wedding dresses and going to sample sales at local boutiques and I thought to wait a year for my wedding was SO long. In reality- it wasn’t long at all, and I can’t believe “my fiance” turned into “my husband” so fast!
Everything was absolutely GORGEOUS on this wedding day. The old car, the hotel, the light, THE BRIDE AND GROOM! I knew Sarah would have everything perfect to a T.
I had to share this blog post a day early because I couldn’t stop editing and smiling. What a weekend! Talia and Fred were married July 13th at Traditions at the Glen in Johnson City, New York! Adam and I traveled in from Rochester the day of and shared the most perfect day with them.
I don’t think I need to remind everyone how hot it was outside on July 6th so let me tell you how PERFECT it was instead. The forecast all week called for rain during our portrait time. I was prepared with 10 white umbrellas and one cute, clear bubble umbrella for the couple. It started to rain pretty heavily while they were getting ready in separate rooms but I remained positive as I knew we were going to get beautiful images regardless but I could tell Melissa was disappointed.
I know I say it every time but honestly- where do I begin? Lindsey and Gerry have been together as long as Adam and I (over 6 years!) and I can’t believe our friendship has led us here: their wedding!
Ah, where do I even begin? I have known Greg and Crystal for probably over 12 years and that’s how long they’ve been together. High school SWEETHEARTS. I was so excited when they reached out about their elopement in the Adirondack mountains which fell right on their 12 year anniversary!
Engagements
Julie and Mitch’s engagement session at Kershaw Park in Canandaigua, NY, was a perfect mix of romance and adventure. From a scenic lakeside stroll to a serene canoe ride on Canandaigua Lake, their session beautifully captured their love for each other and their shared passion for the outdoors. Check out their stunning photos and get inspired for your own engagement session!
Who doesn’t love the spring time in Rochester, NY? Especially around Highland Park! This engagement session was from TWO seasons ago, but I’m sharing now because I can’t let these images slip by. They are too freaking cute. So lucky we get to experience spring time like this in Rochester. Check out the cutest spring photos ever.
Essence and Brandon really wanted an urban look and feel for their engagement session. We’ve photographed on downtown Rochester, NY parking garages before but this time we added a little twist!
Isn’t this venue gorgeous? Emily and Mike are getting married at the NEW Lake House on Canandaigua! They completely renovated and started fresh with their venue and hotel space and it is remarkable.
This was such a fun and unique engagement session! Kate and Angus met while working at the Rotary Sunshine Campus in Rush, NY and it made for a PERFECT engagement session location.
What is better than wine, and the cutest Rochester neighborhood ever? I don’t think anything! We started off Maria and Brian’s engagement session at Living Roots Wine & Co in downtown Rochester. If you haven’t been to this winery yet, you MUST go.
Proposals are so fun and I’m so lucky I was able to photograph Jake and Alicia’s. They are both from New Jersey but huge wine lovers so naturally the Finger Lakes was calling their name
I’m so excited to be sharing this beautiful (dog filled) engagement session! Bayley and Scott are the freaking best and the perfect example of a couple who makes my life easy.
Today we’re throwing it back to this gorgeous fall engagement session. It’s Kevin and Grace’s original wedding date or what I like to call “OG wedding date” and even though they don’t have to wait too much longer until they are officially married - they deserve some joy today! I forgot how much I loved this session - the colors - the light, and of course the cutest freaking couple.
I am so excited to share this blog with you all! Xavier and Brittany are high school friends and it’s such an honor to be able to photograph their 2021 wedding and engagement session! They rescued their pup Jake and he would not leave their side so we fully embraced it during their photoshoot.
WOOO! I’m so excited to be blogging Cathin and Steve’s farm inspired engagement session. Steve’s family owns Partyka Farms in Kendall, NY and it was the absolute perfect location.
As I was compiling these images, I realized how much I actually shoot throughout the year. Kinda crazy! This is a combination of 2019 and 2020 couples. I only included engagement sessions that were photographed in 2019.
Hailey and Mark are so much fun. I’m so thankful I get to photograph their wedding next September. We decided last minute to do a portion of their engagement session at the sunflower field in Pittsford, NY.
One of my favorite engagement sessions to date. Chelsie and Nick booked me TWO years ago and their wedding is this September - so I absolutely knew photos was one of their biggest priorities. Don’t even get me started on how excited I am for their wedding at Artisan Works.
I get to photograph this amazing elopement in just under 2 weeks! We are traveling to the mountains and I can’t WAIT. I’ve known these two for so long, and I’m so happy they asked me to be apart of their day.
Talk about models. I get excited every time I look at this session! I’m so grateful they hired me, because I can’t over how cute they are. Priscilla’s first email to me explained how important photographs are to her, and even though Moise doesn’t like being in front the camera, she knows how ROMANTIC he is and was excited to find a photographer who could capture that.
AH. One of my favorite engagement sessions to date and it wasn’t even in Rochester. You’re going to see a lot of Apollo (their pup) and Talia’s beautiful engagement ring featured below because I could not help myself. C’mon, look at that face!!
I AM so excited to share this engagement session on the blog this week! I’ve known Megan for over a decade due to her sister being my best friend! I basically lived with the Fenti family and I didn’t have a big sister to steal clothes from so naturally I stole Megan’s when she wasn’t home (sorry Meg, I know how annoying that was hahaha). Fast forward 11 years and now I’m photographing her engagement session with her amazing fiance Thom.
You know what I love? Clients who you just click with so well. I’m pretty positive we could all be best friends at this point. Chris proposed to Colleen around the holiday time, and Colleen reached out to me literally two days later on Facebook because she was THAT excited.
JUNE 22ND, 2019 IS APPROACHING WAY FASTER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD. Can you believe 8 months ago (almost 9) my fiance proposed to me? He did good you guys. Have you heard the story? I’m sure you have... but let me tell you again :)
I just love Rochester, NY sometimes. I dragged my best friends to the City of Rochester Public Market area over the summer (I know, I know, I am SO behind on blogging) and boy was I FAR from disappointed
Engagement shoots are always fun, and mostly because you are able to create images that reflect the relationship between two people. I usually help prepare my clients with clothing options, location options (something that is meaningful to them), and we usually coordinate the entire shoot.
Marissa and Tucker’s outdoor tented wedding at The Seneca Ridge in the Finger Lakes was filled with bright colors, heartfelt moments, and stunning sunset portraits. This charming farm venue created the perfect backdrop for their vibrant celebration, and I loved capturing every joyful, true-to-life moment from their unforgettable day.
