Chelsie & Nick

What a fun day filled with so much laughter and color! Chelsie and Nick booked me TWO years ago and so it feels so un-real that I’m finally blogging their wedding day. Photography was so important to them, and I could tell that! They loved hearing suggestions, invited me to their meetings, etc.

Chelsie started off her morning getting ready with her bridemaids at the Holiday Inn downtown. After last minute makeup and hair details, her mother helped her into her dress. She bought her dress two years and I could tell she was so freaking excited to put it back on. That’s a long time to wait!! She looked so stunning. We headed downstairs to do a first look with her dad and brother (those images I’m saving her gallery because it’s so sweet). Afterwards I grabbed some quick getting ready shots of Nick and his crew back at the venue where they were playing pool. Guys have it so easy, am I right?

Artisan Works in Rochester, NY is such an awesome venue. Besides the fact that Madeline’s catering is so dang good, the team there is fantastic to work with. There ceremony & reception was held in the Veritgo Heights room and their coordinator Iggy helped up plan everything- even First Look coordinating! Later in the evening (after many many tears and smiles from the ceremony, speeches and dances) we opted for more portraits in the building instead of a sunset photos (well, Rochester didn’t have a sunset, just rain!). I think they are so dang cute!

Check them out below,
xoxo,
Megan
