We’re so excited you’re here. Wedding planning is stressful, we know first hand and that’s why we love making this part of the process seamless for you. Photographers somehow become much more than photographers on the day of. We fluff dresses, we style pretty things, we hold your tissues, we help calm your nerves, we run around and find an extra bobby pin if we need too….but you know what? I wouldn’t change a thing! Your wedding day is as important to me as my own was. One of the most important aspects to me when I was booking my own wedding vendors, was to have an experience. I trusted vendors who actually cared about Adam and I, and vendors who wanted to lend us a hand when we needed it.

Let’s break down this process, shall we?
Meeting my couples in the very beginning is important to me and important to the final product of their images. I love coffee meet ups (I can get coffee anytime of the day....seriously) or a phone consultation so we can discuss the nitty-gritty of your day. It's a great time for us to connect, learn more about you, and timeline details. The agreement and wedding retainer is paid upon choosing me as your photographer. We'll meet a few more times during your wedding planning to make sure we're both on the same page. Read more about the Megan Antalek client experience below.
01. The Booking Process
You’ve contacted me, we’ve met and you’re ready to book (we are so dang excited you’re here!). The next step is signing your contract and putting down your retainer to hold your date with us. Once that is finished, hooray! We are official! Let’s plan your engagement session….
02. The Engagement Session
After booking with us you’ll receive your Megan Antalek Experience guide in the mail. This goes over prep for your entire day but also your engagement session. The guide goes over outfits, the time of day to photograph, fun ideas and more!
03. Wedding Planning
One of my favorite parts of the experience is helping you plan your day and timeline. You know that crazy timeline that you’ve been putting off until the last minute? You don’t even have to worry about it! I 100% got you. We’ll chat on the phone a few times throughout the year so you can ensure you’ll have a stress free, fun day, and beautiful images at the same time!
04. Your Wedding Day
It’s finally here! My only priority on this day is to make sure you have a flawless experience. I will be your personal paparazzi, dress fluffer and overly excited with every cute moment. I’ll probably shed a few tears because… dang you guys are so cute, love your family like my own, and tear up the dance floor (while snapping away) with the whole crew.
05. Sneak Peak Time
Get ready to re-live your day just TWO to THREE days after your wedding. You’ll have over 50+ images that showcase your entire day from start to finish in your hands. You’ll get these images as a high-resolution format in your online gallery while you wait for your final gallery. Share these sneak peaks with friends and family and even get a start on your thank you cards with these images.
06. Full Gallery Delivery
Your full online gallery will be delivered in 4-6 weeks. I strive really hard to get my client’s wedding galleries out before the 30 day mark and in their hands as fast as possible. Your online gallery comes with the ability to download high-resolution files to your computer. It also comes with printing rights. After this, clients are able to start their album design process. The one thing I don’t make my couples do - wait for their images, because who wants to do that?

Every wedding is different, therefor it’s hard to give an exact number. Typically for an 8 hour wedding I’ll deliver anywhere from 800-1000 images. It really depends on willingness of my clients, and events that unfold that night.

I like to have fun, and I want my couples to have fun also! I shoot fast paced, while keeping posing fun, light and candid. This makes for a better experience as we are laughing and there is no time for you to feel uncomfortable. Just know that you don’t have to worry about posing at ALL.

Yes! I shoot on professional DSLR equipment (Team Sony baby!) and have backups for every piece of equipment. We also carry liability insurance and can provide it for any venue if need be.
