Nick & Katy
Back at it for wedding blogs and I’m so excited to share this one! I loved working with Katy and Nick so much and I’m so thankful Kim (her bridesmaid, and another bride of mine this year!) referred her. Photographing friends makes me so happy! Like most couples Katy and Nick had to pivot their plans this year and decided ultimately they still wanted to get married. I’m so happy they did.
We started off the morning with getting ready images at their hotel which was directly next to their church. How convenient! Katy had such simple but beautiful details. They were married at Holy Family Catholic Church in Auburn, NY and celebrated with their closest friends and family. Afterwards we took some adorable socially distant photos of everyone on the drone and headed off to Hoopes Park in Auburn, NY for their portraits. If you know anything about me, you know how much I love a wedding party with COLOR and they delivered. For their wedding this year Katy asked her bridesmaids to wear different colors and it looked amazing together (check it out below). We ended our time together with a ‘cheers’ and they went off to enjoy the rest of their day. I can’t wait for their official reception next July 2021!
