I’m Megan
The moment my high-school photography teacher pushed me into this photo genre - I haven’t stopped learning, growing, and pursuing this amazing, wonderful world of entrepreneurship.
Most days you’ll find me drinking Starbucks, hanging out with my dogs, trying to be TikTok famous, walking through Target with no end goal, analyzing Riverdale episodes to figure out the plot, or trying new vegetarian recipes with my husband. Random? Yep.

From the very beginning, Megan was responsive, professional, and familiar. She made us feel comfortable discussing budget and pricing and had plenty of samples of packages for us to look at prior to making any decisions. On the day of our wedding, she was on time (even to a very rural location) and blended right in with our bridal party. She snuck photos of dresses, rings, and us without interrupting the flow of the day. I have had the pleasure of knowing Megan since high school, we attended together as she was just beginning to pursue her passion of photography. Even at the very start of her career I could tell she possessed true talent and have loved continuing to work with her over the years. She has photographed me in many capacities, from modeling to boudoir to engagement and most recently my private wedding/elopement. The session flew by because we had so much fun together and she made us feel so comfortable. She's truly on top of it when it comes to the best angles, poses, all minor details that make for the best photographs. We can't wait to blow a few of the images up and display them in our house! Megan was amazing to work with! Megan was fantastic at communicating throughout the whole process. My husband and I live in NC, so planning our wedding from far away made us nervous, but Megan was on top of it! Whenever we had a question, she was quick to respond. She even put together our day of wedding timeline, which helped all of our other vendors too. On our wedding day, Megan and her husband Adam made everyone feel comfortable and were a blast to work with. We just received our wedding photos, which was a very quick turn around time! We were beyond impressed and couldn’t be happier with our decision on picking Megan. She is very talented and would definitely recommend picking her as your photographer!!

I almost didn't want to write Megan a review because I'm selfish and want her open to do all of my friends' weddings, too! I truly could not recommend her more highly.
After looking through 50+ photographers' portfolios and meeting with several, Megan was recommended to us by a friend. Immediately after scrolling through her Instagram, I knew she was the one for us. Her photographs are the caliber of a much more expensive photographer and she could not have been more accommodating. She traveled all the way from her home in Rochester to ours in Albany to do our (included in the package!) engagement shoot and was SO excited when we asked if we could include our pup in the pictures, too…..(continued)

If you’re looking at Megan’s page thinking- should i use this chick? the answer is yeah, you should. this lady was impeccable start to the very end. She was responsive and personable the moment we got in contact. She was organized in our meeting and recommended the perfect package for our day. not only did she and her assistant, Sara (who was fab), photograph our entire day- Megan also made our day of timeline and kept our day/night running so smoothly! I would use her 8 million more times, literally. She customized our package to include a boudoir shoot, which was EVERYTHING I COULD HAVE HOPED FOR AND MORE. Her photography was so organic and creative- we have some seriously special and unique pictures of our day. ♥️ if you’re looking for a photographer and don’t mind gaining a new friend by the end of the night, look no further!

Looking for a photographer, Megan Serrano is the person to go with!!! Megan was so easy to work with. She was available as many times as I needed or wanted to meet. Super quick at getting back to me!! My wedding pictures I knew would be awesome because Megan is awesome but she outdid herself. I cried looking through them in shock at how AMAZING they turned out!! Megan was absolutely fantastic to work with. She was fun, friendly, and professional. I could not ask for more beautiful photographs - they were stunning. She photographed our wedding and our engagement photo shoot, and both were gorgeous. She took a lovely balance of portraits, candid shots, artistic/abstract shots, and a fantastic blend of the above to create her own style. We could not possibly be any happier. She communicated with us clearly and quickly every step of the way. Her second photographer was easy to work with and friendly as well. I wish I could give Megan more stars, because she honestly deserves it! And, when all was said and done, she personalized a slideshow for us so that we could see our photos arranged to music. "Megan was probably the best wedding photographer I could have hoped to get on my wedding day. My husband and I live in Florida, but were planning our wedding in Rochester, so the task of coordinating all the details was a daunting one. Thankfully Megan made everything very easy! We were able to coordinate everything through email and Facebook. We planned everything out ahead of time and when the day finally came she knew exactly what pictures I was hoping to get. The day went flawlessly, in large part because of Megan. She was extremely dedicated on the day of my wedding. Meagan and her second photographer Adam were with us for almost 11 hours taking photos! After the wedding the pictures turned out beautifully. We had to wait a couple weeks to get the finished images, but the wait was well worth it. Megan delivered well over 800 beautifully composed and edited photos. I had the hardest time going through them and picking out my favorites. Megan’s attention to detail, lighting, and composition make her a wonderful photographer and I was so glad she was able to capture this day for us. I highly recommend Megan. Where do I even begin with Megan? For starters, if you are between several photographers and are contemplating who to hire, Megan is hands down the best choice! From day one at our consultation, her flexibility, professionalism and down-to-earth personality floored me. She's the type of person you want to work with on a day to day basis and then hang out with after work! Megan is super talented (her photographs speak for themselves) and she really listens to what you envision and makes it come to life. Communication is top notch as well- she was literally one of the few 'vendors' that checked in on me more often than I, her, throughout the process which made the entire experience stress free and fun. And then the extra touches that really made mine and my husband's engagement & wedding so very special. I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with her.
