Best of 2019 Weddings - Rochester, NY Wedding Photographer
I apologize in advance for this LONG blog post. I got extremely carried away with only SOME of my favorites from 2019. This wedding season was incredible. I met some amazing people, connected with their families, danced with their friends, and ultimately have been in touch with their lives since the moment they booked me! It’s such a great feeling and I can’t tell you lucky I am!
2019 started of strong with a snow storm in January! It took me over an hour to get from Rochester, NY to Victor, NY but it was so worth it. Honestly one of my favorite weddings to talk about! Continuing on through the year, I was able to get a taste of traveling for weddings. My second wedding of the year was an elopement in Adirondacks for some of our really good friends and in July we photographed a wedding in Binghamton. It’s safe to say we love traveling for weddings now! We ended our wedding season on a strong Halloween note at the Jerris Wadsworth Wedding Barn. It was freaking AWESOME. Everyone please book me for their spooky weddings now.
How can I quickly wrap up an entire wedding season so you can scroll through these beauts? First of all, I have to thank my clients for trusting me even when the idea was a little crazy (example quote from me: “Okay now stand next to the dumpster but I PROMISE it won’t be in the photo, I just love the light”). I should of counted how many times I said “Okay, I know this feels awkward but damn you guys look amazing”, or my favorite “okay, don’t hate me but…”. Second of all, thanks to anyone who was near me and didn’t judge me when I was moving 100 pieces of furniture around just for one shot. I promise the shot was worth it. Third of all, these are only a small handful of my favorites from all 14 of my weddings this year. Okay, enough chatter from me. Enjoy!
